Announcing the #FromGrowToGlow Pumpkin Carving Photo Contest!
It’s officially October, and that means the Halloween excitement is about to kick off in full swing. But don’t worry. Just because it’s fall doesn’t mean the gardening season is over. At The Dirt on Dirt, we love this spooktacular month and put our heads together to come up with a fun way to celebrate fall gardening. Our first thought? Pumpkins.
And so, today we’re officially announcing our #FromGrowToGlow pumpkin carving photo contest!
Growing pumpkins takes patience, and it’s always exciting to see their transformation by Halloween – from growing in a pumpkin patch to glowing on the front porch as a carefully carved Jack O’Lantern. This year, we invite you to submit a photo of your best carved pumpkin for the chance to win a special gardening prize pack.
Starting now, The Dirt on Dirt invites you to join our #FromGrowToGlow pumpkin carving photo contest! Here’s how it works. Carve a pumpkin (home grown or store bought!), snap a picture, and share it to our Facebook page or your Twitter or Instagram account tagging us (@TheDirtOnDirt) and using the hashtag #FromGrowToGlow.
Don’t lose your head like the Headless Horseman! You have plenty of time to enter. We’re running this photo contest throughout the entire month of October to give everyone a chance to participate. We’ll announce a winner on Halloween (October 31st). Submissions will be accepted until 11:59 PM on October 30th.
Send in your best carving trick, and the grand prize winner will get a special gardening treat from us! The fun starts now … happy carving! Be sure to invite your family and friends to like our social media pages. See the photo contest submissions on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Rules:
• The photo contest is open to all ages, but we will select a winner who is located in the US to ship a prize package to. Our apologies to all international gardening enthusiasts – we still invite you to join the fun!
• By submitting your photo, you are giving us permission to utilize it, with appropriate credits attached, on any and all The Dirt on Dirt communications, including but not limited to social media, blogs, and press releases.
• Participants are welcome to submit as many entries as they would like.
• Only those photos with the hashtag #FromGrowToGlow will be considered for judging.
